"This is one of Wes Montgomery's greatest recordings,a classic that really alerted the world about the talents of the guitarist.In a quartet with pianist Tommy Flanagan,bassist Percy Heath,and drummer Albert Heath,Wes introduced his originals "West Coast Blues","Four On Six",and "D-Natural Blues",performed his "Mister Walker"and stretched out on "Airegin",the ballad "Polka Dots and Moonbeams","In Your Own Sweet Way"and "Gone With the Wind".All of the unique qualities of Wes Montgomery's style are on display on this essential recording".

This record was joyfully play-graded,and even though there are slight-surface noise on Side-two,the first tune,I still grade this album as NEAR MINT condition.
The LP-jacket has a total spine seam-split,and a 2-inch seam-split toward the right-hand bottom at the lp-opening.The front,and back cover photos and info,are intact.This cover is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition.
