Description
Here is an original US MONO copy of their first Reprise label (6247) LP released in 1967. Their three releases on this label are some of the most essential psych of the late sixties period. This is an absolutely perfect copy without even a trace of wear on the cover or the record. The labels are perfect without even one spindle mark. The vinyl bright, glossy and beautiful without any of the cloudy haze that was so common on Reprise pressings at that time period. It is a perfect M- copy. I doubt you'll ever even see a far more common stereo copy this nice. Many things can be heard on this mono mix that can't be heard on the stereo copies. For example, the spoken lyrics on "1906" which can be plainly heard on the mono, are almost completely lost in the background on the stereo mix. This will probably be your last chance of scoring a mono copy this nice, so the reserve is reasonable. Thanks for looking.
