Description
This is a listing for a set of 2 vinyl albums from Westminster Laboratory Series released in 1955 - 1956. Both are in excellent condition. Plays beautifully with no skipping. The album jackets are not the typical jackets, but open like a book. There is no lettering inside the jacket or on the back. The front covers are a metallic finish, and each comes in a zippered plastic sleeve.
Westminster Series are "Natural Balance", meaning they recorded the Orchestra using only one microphone. They believed that this gave a more natural balance to the instruments. Each side has only about 15 minutes and the music section goes to have way into the record. This gives it a better sound at the end of the song. The Laboratory Series were only made between 1954 and 1957. These are rare. Titles of the albums are:

These albums came from an estate sale of a 95 year old artist who took excellent care of her personal belongings.
