This record was bought by myself as a 16 year old, in 1983 from ‘Loppylugs’ independent record store in Edgware, Middlesex. Andrew & George had visited the store and signed some record sleeves.

In 1983 Loppylugs was the trendiest place in the area and was 200m from George Michael’s mums florist store in Edgware, so it was George & Andrew’s local record shop.

The visit was unannounced, as I am led to believe they visited fairly often to buy records, so I missed the actual visit, but managed to buy with my hard earned 1st job cash, this copy which has written in biro ‘Good Luck, Andrew’. I can’t guarantee it’s authenticity other than knowing that I bought it on the same day as they visited, and by then there were none left signed by George!

In my opinion, it’s one Wham!’s best 12” singles with an instrumental of Club Tropicana on the B side as well as ‘Blue’

The record hasn’t been played for a while as I no longer have a player but appears scratch free

The sleeve is in reasonable condition for 38 years old with some creases and rubbed edges.
