My fellow White Stripes fans, this here is the near-impossible to find Australian/Asian printing of the dynamic duo's breakthrough 2003 album, Elephant.
Jack and Meg sitting on that trunk (geddit?) both dressed in white mark this as different to the standard UK and US pressings. The inside sleeves also show a slightly different design to those more common versions. Both records (yep, there's two!) are black as black can be.
This pressing is rather interesting in that it's very limited availability is rumoured to be due to an manufacturing screw up (2,000 ordered, approx 300 pressed). I've never read or heard an official declaration of just how many copies of this version of Elephant there are but it's consistently stated by collectors that it's 300 so that seems to be the best bet.
Considering the importance of this record and it's super-duper limited availability it's very much in demand among collectors and very rarely seen on eBay.
This particular copy has never been played and is in absolutely lovely condition.
There are approx four very minor edge scuffs on the outer sleeve opening but aside from that this baby is totally cherry, man!
