'Trouble' is the debut LP by Whitesnake originally released late October 1978. It is pre - dated by two David Coverdale solo albums, 'Whitesnake' from 1977 and 'Northwinds' from 1978 and one Whitesnake EP 'Snakebite' also from 1978. Chronologically this LP comes between the EP and 'Lovehunter' album from 1979. This was the first album to be billed just as Whitesnake. Along with Coverdale on vocals are songwriting partner Micky Moody from his old solo band on guitar, Neil Murray on bass, Bernie Marsden on guitar and, after some persuassion, Coverdale's old Deep Purple mate Jon Lord on keyboards. 

It was originally recorded at Central Recorders studio in London during the summer of 1978. Martin Birch produced the album which was recorded and mixed in ten days. According to Coverdale, the album was called "Trouble", which was because of his first child was born during the album's recording. (Wikipedia) 

This is a 96kHz / 24bit resolution remastered by Dave Donnelly, available on vinyl for the first time. Regarding the remastered sound, it stands up much better with some meaningful volume behind it.

This remaster has a slightly altered cover design with the now housed in a nice gatefold sleeve. The inside is a scrap - book style montage of period cuttings, which makes for entertaining reading.

This was originally a United Artists label release, but is now on Parlophone labels. The labels are the old fashioned black and yellow style which will be familiar to anyone who bought LPs in the 1960s.

They come in clear vinyl wallets with folded inlays ready for a jewel case. Please note that the back CD inlay may have been folded and will therefore show once inserted into a CD jewel case. The discs are brand new and have never been played. All of these items are therefore priced accordingly.

 Delivery in the UK is free using Royal Mail 2nd Class Post - this normally takes 2 - 3 working days although in some circumstances Royal Mail may take longer.

Alternatively we can offer Royal Mail 1st Class signed for. Please select this option when checking out if you would prefer this method.
