Description

Very RARE Disco copy of The Whole Darn Family "SEVEN MINUTES OF FUNK " b/w "AIN'T NOTHING BUT SIMETHING TO DO" on SOUL INTERNATIONAL RECORDS S1-D-1.  Original Pressing from 1976, distributed by AMHERST RECORDS Buffalo New York.  This is the REAL DEAL on original ORANGE LABEL and original Cover. Record cleaned on VPI Record Cleaning Machine.  Condition is as follows:

Side One = Seven Minutes of Funk is VG condition visually with paper scuffs and ghost trails...NO SCRATCHES.  Play graded at VG+ with deep rich sound and very light background noise...plays great LOUD.  Label is VG+ with no writing and very light spindle wear.

Side Two = Ain't Nothing But Something To Do is VG condition visually with paper scuffs and ghost trails...NO SCRATCHES.  Play graded at VG+ with deep rich sound and very light background noise...also sounds great when played LOUD.  Label is VG with a ball point pen mark of someones name and very little spindle wear.

Cover = VG+ with slight seam wear repair on opening upper and lower seam...so there are no seam splits.  The repair was done professionally and is hardly noticable.  There is a mark where someone's name was written on upper right hand side on front only.  The rest of cover is clean and has light signs of age...but color is very bright orange and it's the original Soul International Records 12" cover.

Let me just add that I am not a huge fan of Disco or beats etc...but this record really ROCKS!!  It got me dancing to that Seven Minutes of Pure FUNK when I was play grading it...NICE.
