Greetings, Wilco fans. Up for auction is an absolutely stunning and amazingly rare box set edition of Wilco's latest, The Whole Love.
The deluxe box set, a special Record Store Day 2012 release, is an extremely limited edition of 300. It is unopened, still in shrink wrap.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this during my shopping spree this morning. Somewhere there is a completist Wilco fan that will want to get their hands on this, I thought.
The box itself is thick, die-cut and includes the following:
** The Whole Love LP on 180-gram vinyl (apparently in a gatefold jacket)
** The Whole Love CD
** Speak Into the Rose" 10-inch EP (reportedly on translucent red vinyl)
** "I Might" b/w "I Love My Label" 7-inch, allegedly on exclusive clear vinyl (apparently, reportedly and "allegedly" because this box set is sealed).
** Wilco slipmat for your turntable
** 45 adapter
