Description

Original pressing of Latin Go-Go by Wilfredo Figueroa, released on Colonia Records (CLP-2050) out of Puerto Rico. A scarce and hard-hitting island Latin LP that blends guaguancó, plena, bolero, and guaracha in a raw, regional style not often heard outside of local pressings.

A true deep cut for collectors of rare Caribbean Latin recordings, this LP captures the sound of Puerto Rican street rhythms from the golden era. Includes a mix of vocal-driven guaguancós and heartfelt boleros, plus rhythmic standouts like Mi Negra (bomba plena) and Jimbo Zambo (ritmo jambo). A hidden gem for fans of Fania-era grit with a distinctly Puerto Rican flair.

Notable Tracks:

  • Aguántate y No Te Caigas (Guaguancó)

  • Mi Negra (Bomba Plena)

  • Jimbo Zambo (Ritmo Jambo)

  • Mujer Sin Corazón (Guaguancó)

  • Siete Días (Bolero)
