Description

Recent discovery....a very rare record by Willie Baker  aka Willie Jones and Steamboat Willie bad luck moan / rag baby    I have listened to both sides twice. ..I have a modern turntable with a 78 rpm setting...the needle is not a proper one for 78s but just the same : both sides play through with no skips. The tonal quality of side A is very good... comes through loud and fairly clear... The other side different story...much more distorted...by the way I have not cleaned it ...prefer to leave that to the buyer...as people have their own ideas about best methods.  Record isn't completely flat. ..it has a very slight rise in one area. This is a record that in excellent condition has recently sold for over $1200.
