Description
This is the extremely rare and sought after vinyl release of Willie Tee - I'm Only a Man, released Capitol in 1970.
This record came from the only production run, as this album did not sell well, making this an extremely limited release.
The record has been professionally play tested in full and graded as VERY GOOD+. There are several areas with minor repeating crackles, but they never get the point of being distracting. There is practically no background noise, making this a very clear record. Visually, there is some dust and dirt on both sides, but there are no scratches or scuffs I can see. There are a couple of no-fill patches though. I believe that this record could become a VG++ with some careful cleaning with proper equipment.
The jacket has been graded as VERY GOOD+ on the front face, VERY GOOD on the edges, and VERY GOOD++ on the rear face.
The front face displays some ring wear, but no other tears, marks, or blemishes. The printing still looks great. The 1/2 Capitol promo hole can be seen in the top right corner. Some may call this a forced defect hole, but this is too large to be one; other Capitol promos of this era use the same sized hole to signify promos, so I confidently believe this to be a promo. The edges display middling edge wear, with some minor tearing and significant corner wear. There is a 1 inch seam split in the top-right corner. Still, could be much worse. The rear face looks beautiful, displaying no ring wear, tears, or blemishes at all, except for the promo hole.
the original paper inner sleeve with the promo hole is included in VERY GOOD++ condition. There is a little bot of unfolding on the top edge, but everything else is perfect. The record will be shipped in a new, high quality, plastic lined inner sleeve for safety.
The original inner sleeve is included, but will not be used to transport the record.
This record doesn't come around too often, so grab it while you can.
