Up for bid is a very rare DJ white label mono promo 2 LP set, "Wilson Pickett's Greatest Hits." To be clear, the ID number on the jacket is SD 2-501. This was the standard number for a non-promo stereo release. The actual ID number on the white interior labels on the LPs are 2-501 (NOT SD 2-501), and is mono, as indicated by the orange promo sticker on the front of the jacket. This was released by Atlantic Records in 1973. LPs are VG++, with a few faint scuffs and no spindle wear. LPs are extremely clean and retain a nice gloss. Gatefold jacket is VG+, with no seam splits. There is wear on all seams. Thee is ring wear on the front and the back of the gatefold jacket. There is corner wear on all four corners. Songs include:

**Wilson Pickett's version of "Hey Jude" featured Duane Allman on guitar - here is some extra info from the internet: "....In November 1968 Rick Hall hired (Duane)Allman to play on an album with Wilson Pickett. Allman's work on that album, Hey Jude (1968), got him hired as a full-time session musician at Muscle Shoals and brought him to the attention of a number of other musicians, such as guitar great Eric Clapton, who later said, "I remember hearing Wilson Pickett's 'Hey Jude' and just being astounded by the lead break at the end. ... I had to know who that was immediately — right now." "
