WINGS - 'AT THE SPEED OF SOUND'


Recorded & issued in 1976 during a world tour, this was their only album where every member sings lead on at least one song.

This genuine 2-sided UK test pressing dates from just prior to March 1976 release on EMI/Parlophone: PAS 10010

Both labels are white with 'WINGS at the Speed of Sound' written on the side 2 label. The side 1 label is blank.


Matrix numbers: YEX 953-5U & YEX 954-5U

Earliest possible stamper codes: 1/G & 1/G

Disc weight: 127g


Housed in a regular UK printed, thick card stock cover complete with printed card inner-sleeve.

Both are intact with the only issue being some small age spots on each.


Visual & Audio: VERY GOOD +

The playing surfaces are clean & glossy with a couple of light surface marks, but no major blemishes or wear. The disc has received a moderate amount of play but apart from a little low-level background between tracks and in some of the quieter passages, it is free from any significant or major audible faults.


Cover: EXCELLENT

Clean & strong with light storagewear only.


Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT -

Clean & uncreased with just a small lower seam split
