WINGS - 'RED ROSE SPEEDWAY'
This true UK 1st pressing of their second album dates from initial May 1973 release on a custom Parlophone label: PCTC 251
Both labels bear the 'Wings' logo which was included on only the earliest pressings.
Matrix numbers: YEX 903-3 6 YEX 904-3
Stamper codes: 1/AH & 1/AM
Vinyl weight: 138g
Housed in a matt 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with 12-page stapled booklet & braille text on the rear panel.
This early example comes with an original promo leaflet advertising this & McCartney's three previous solo LPs.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT -
Clean labels and playing surfaces which bear light wispy marks beneath halogen light, but nothing we would call a scratch. Some light vinyl background is audible during some quieter passages, but no major audible faults are present.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean & fully intact with minor shelfwear to the corners. The booklet inside is still attached and is undamaged.
Leaflet: EXCELLENT
Clean with a few soft creases on the front.
