Description
Winslow-Munden-Locust Viking (Joy Enterprises 196?-197?). Rare original copy of this private press folk psych platter that has no release date but looks and sounds like the late 60's or early 70's. This copy is rough but is offered up for bid as-is due to the rarity of the vinyl and the quality of the all-original songs.
Vinyl: G-. The light bulb reveals lots of scratches and some scuffs, this record was played a lot and handled carelessly by some stoned hippie communing with the universe in his basement. Side one and the first two tracks on side two play VG- with steady groove/surface noise and scattered tics. Luckily the thick vinyl and suprisingly solid, warm production keep the music alive. The last three tracks on side two would have ridden the same VG- train but there's a long feelable scratch that causes a steady repeating click throughout these songs. There's a light storage warp that tracks fine. Again, this copy is rough but the record is very rare and the sounds are awesome if private press psych folk is your bag.
