Description

For sale is Wire's Pink Flag, originally released in the U.K. in 1977 on Harvest Records, the released in the U.S. in 1978. In the run-out section between the last song and the label is the matrix # F-2 followed by "Wally" and an etched picture of what appears to be an over-turned wine glass. This actually is a Winchester rifle etched in the dead wax, signifying that this was mastered by Capitol Records' Wally Traugott at their Winchester, Virginia location. I bought this new and immediately put this album, like all my records, in a protective inner sleeve. Doing this leaves the inner sleeve in near mint shape. The cover is in excellent shape with only a hint of ring wear. The vinyl is Near Mint. It's been played on only Audiophile equipment over the years and still has a lot of life yet. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I'm a big fan of Punk Rock from the U.K. and the U.S.A. and have a lot of 45 RPM singles and albums in my Ebay store. Please take a look! There are ALL near mint!    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
