Description:
Wow, what a great and unique find!
This is the first Israeli Mono press of With the Beatles album on Yellow Parlophone, which is pretty rare for itself, but this copy has something very special going for it: Sometimes, much like in England, the Israeli pressing factories asked from the Decca pressing plants to make a batch of copies for them. Israel is the only country that did that except of England. These copies are easy to spot because they have the famous Decca groove on the label. Only a very few copies of these were made, both in England and in Israel, and in Israel it's even weirder because this is in fact an Israeli record made in England, by a different pressing factory than what's on the label. This is one of these insanely rare copies. I've only seen one other one in my years of collecting and it was The Beatles' debut and not With the Beatles.
This is a single sleeve, front laminated and flip back cover. There is no country of pressing written anywhere. This was done back then because the Israeli pressing companies feared of Arab boycott. So, even though no country of pressing is listed anywhere, this record was pressed in Israel.
Once again, I cannot stress enough how rare this album is. Not in the best condition, but this is one of these albums you don't get for listening experience.
