CONDITION
DISC: This Australian 1964 pressing MONO LP with the earliest UK matrices is in NEAR MINT- condition. Please keep in mind that NEAR MINT is my highest grade for an opened LP. Both sides show full gloss, with only a smattering of very light hairlines. Australia switched over to the Yellow & Black Parlophone labels for MONO in early 1964, and both labels show only a few spindle trails.
The Beatles were at the height of Beatlemania when this LP was released and selling in the millions, but Australia had only about 20% of the UK population in 1964, and many fewer LPs were pressed there. To find ANY 1964 pressing Beatles LP -- let alone one from Australia -- in this condition, with the soon-to-be-replaced -1N matrices, is very difficult.

COVER: The Australian EMI-made front-laminated cover is in VERY GOOD+ condition, with age-toning on the back, an LP impression, and creases in the cardboard and laminate consistent with its 52 years of age. The cover's thin spine is fully readable, and its unique front cover along with its twin flipback construction make it an attractive alternative to its commonplace UK counterpart.

INNER SLEEVE: The polythene rounded sleeve (unsure if it's original) is in EXCELLENT condition, with normal storage wear.

GRADING INFORMATION
- I grade conservatively. MINT is a sealed LP; NEAR MINT is an open LP/cover
with virtually no signs of use/wear; EXCELLENT is a well-looked-after LP/cover
with light signs of use/wear; VERY GOOD+ is an LP/cover with average signs of
use/wear but is not trashed. - I use unforgiving sunlight and incandescent light to visually grade each LP.
- I don’t make unverifiable claims as to how many plays a non-sealed LP has had.
Please note: eBay's shipping cost is only an estimate and may not reflect actual shipping cost.
If you do not live in the United States, I will ship your item only through eBay's Global Shipping Program.
