This early German pressing features the initial -1/-1 mix which was unused in the UK where 1st pressings had the -2/-2 matrix. The difference between the two is most clearly illustrated on 'All My Loving' which on this German LP includes the untrimmed version leaving Ringo's 5-tap count-in on at the beginning of the song as well as Paul's intake of breath.

This outstanding copy of that LP dates from c.1967 and is on the white red & gold Odeon label: STO 73 568

Both label rims begin with the wording 'Urheber...'

The disc is housed within in spectacular, glossy finished paper with a pasted on rear panel.

The cover retains its original gold 'Odeon Stereo' gold sticker in the front upper left corner.

Complete with an original plain white poly-lined inner-sleeve.

A striking clean & bright white pair with just some light spindle marks to the side 2 centre hole only.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Superb unworn playing surfaces which have lost none of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines. Careful inspection in strong daylight show up two light fingernail scuffs on side 1 and slightly heavier 2cm surface mark on side 2. Close examination directly beneath halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a sparkling rainbow gloss shine and some harmless wispy paper hairlines but no other faults or wear at all.

Play: EXCELLENT

This disc has clearly received very little play and what there has been, must have been on top-quality equipment. The only significant audible blemishes come from the aforementioned mark on side 2 which causes a light click for about 30 seconds on 'Hold Me Tight'. Apart from this and a single 'pop' on 'Dont' Bother Me', there really is little else to fault audibly or anything else to distract from the listening pleasure of this wonderful LP.

Cover

EXCELLENT +

A really beautiful, unworn example of this iconic cover which retains a unscratched and undamaged glossy front panel with no creasing marks or wear to any area. The only trace of wear on the entire cover is a tiny bruise to the lower right corner and slight wear to the upper two. Both opening edges are clean & undamaged and the rear panel is super clean & white with no marks, writing or missing paper. Both seams are perfectly smooth with no flaking paper and the spine is fully worded, unbent and totally unworn. Tough to find a nicer example.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT

Clean & white with a few faint handling wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
