Description
A rare 1963 MONO UK first pressing of the classic WITH THE BEATLES LP by THE BEATLES on the Parlophone label, catalogue number PMC 1206. This is the genuine original first pressing featuring the JOBETE credit on the label for Side 2 for the track ‘Money’. The matrix numbers are: Side 1 - XEX 447 1N and Side 2 – XEX 448 1N. Mothers and stampers are: Side 1 – GM 1 and Side 2 – GGO 5.
The record is strictly graded in VG condition, it does have a few light marks/scuffs etc but it plays through very nicely, like most of these 1960s EMI pressings, without any jumps or sticks etc. It comes with an EMITEX inner sleeve.
The Garrod & Lofthouse cover is also in VG condition. It has some wear and browning but no major faults – see photos. Both the cover and the side 2 label carry the original incorrect ‘You really gotta hold on me’ credit.
