Description

Because of the possibility of being sued for breach of contract by
Decca records for the use of Ella Fitzgerald for the vocal refrain, Victor
withdrew this record, and never again re-issued it.

Benny Goodman & His Orchestra plays "Did You Mean It" with Ella
doing the vocal refrain.

On the reverse side, Goodman plays "Taint No Use" with Benny himself
"apologetically" doing the vocal refrain.

This 78rpm record was recorded on November 5, 1936, and is in V+
condition.
