Description
The Musical Score of THE WIZARD OF OZ: Lyrics by E. Y. Harburg . Music by Harold Arlen featuring: Judy Garland and Victor Young and his Orchestra with the Ken Darby Singers
The musical score of the Movie is "complete on four ten-inch records" in this Decca Records album No. 558
which contains 4 records of 78 RPM. Both sides of each record are numbered (totaling 1-8 groups of songs).
The record with sides 1/2 is not cracked or broken and the vinyl shows no significant scratches. The 3 records with sides 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8 each have a crack that extends from the record label to the outer edge of the vinyl.
I tried to get pictures of two of the cracks (see photos), but there didn't seem to be any way to make them visible.
It's sad about the 3 cracked records, but apparently they can be collected individually.
The reverse side of the back cover is essentially blank.
**However, the reverse side of the front cover is full of interesting information about Wizard of Oz history leading up to the movie - going all the way back to the original story by L. Frank Baum.
Each vinyl record is stored in its own individual heavy stock brown paper sleeve. The sleeves are bound together and all are intact - no tears or wrinkles except for one sleeve (5/6) with a 2 inch closed tear on the top left (see photos). The album binding is intact except for a 2 inch tear inside where the front cover meets the spine (see photos) and a similar 1 inch tear inside where the back cover meets the spine. A mark on the upper left of the front cover looks like a place that may have been previously taped. Writing on the spine is a clear gold color except for about half of the "Z" in WIZARD. The album book cover edges and corners are worn and bumped.
The right edge of the spine is cracked on the outside from the top to half-way down, but only the top two inches go through to the binding.

Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like ...... or use the "contact seller" link to express any concerns you might have.
I will try to get items to the post office and on their way to you within 2 days, depending upon whether it is a weekday or weekend sale. However, these days we all know that mail delivery times are totally unpredictable. Hopefully it will help that most items are shipped with tracking and/or delivery confirmation – I say ”most” because it would be silly to pay $4.00 for tracking and/or confirmation on a $2 item. I’m also happy to combine shipping for multiple items – just need an email request to make it happen. If used, delivery confirmation confirms delivery to prevent fraudulent chargebacks of claimed unreceived items. So if you are checking a delivery confirmation number, the first time you see any data about your package could be when it arrives at your post office/sorting center (not as informative as tracking).
In general, shipping will be as low as I can get it. The two most popular choices will be: USPS Economy Mail or USPS Media Mail. If shipping a non-sport trade card(s) – the cost depends upon weight. Ebay rules state:
One single sealed pack or up to 15 standard raw cards per package weighing
1oz = $0.51 2oz = $0.71 3oz = $0.91In a few rare cases (noted), the shipping cost will include a modicum of insurance.
Returns: almost all items will be USED (not new) and therefore sold AS-IS. In general, I tend to be detail-conscious, so the specifics of condition should be reflected in item photos and descriptions. However, if it turns out that I am not so perfect and I do miss a defect in an item, accidentally omit something or make an error in the description, please let me know and I will fix it. Since ebay limits the number of photo postings per item, I will sometimes take a variety of extra photos for purposes of discussion in case the need should arise.
Payment: payment should be made promptly (within a day or so) to avoid having an item “waiting in the wings” before it can be boxed up for shipment. A lengthy “hanging around” time could cause an unboxed item to end up getting mailed to the wrong person :<(
Feedback: I am new at this, so if you have a positive experience, I would love to hear about it. And I'll try to send feedback to you as soon as possible. Thanks :<)

OOPS!!! The “Condition” section of this listing states that two records are cracked. Please note these “Description” section details to see that it is actually three records that are cracked. Because there is already a bid, the “Condition” section cannot be corrected at this late date.
Soooooo sorry for this mistake. On Mar-17-21 at 10:32:04 PDT, seller added the following information:BAD NEWS: In the process of getting this ready for shipping, the inside tear at the right top of the spine tore all the way through to the outside. Old tape residue on the front is probably the reason why this area had been taped at one time - to prevent further tearing (ugh). Please see a new picture just added to this listing and showing the problem.
