Description
Wizz Jones ?– When I Leave Berlin - UK LP 1974 The Village Thing ?– VTS 24 - Good Plus (G+) condition.
Strictly down graded - the vinyl is generally in lovely condition with hardly any surface noise at all but it does play with the occasional minor click.
The main issue is that the last track on the first side 'Cluck Old Hen' does have a small cluster of little scratches which produce a series of clicks towards the end of the tune - there is also a faint diagonal scratch across the end of the first side.
Labels are great with hardly any spindle wear.
The laminated sleeve has a little creasing and a small patch of 'lifting'.
There is edge and corner scuffing and some wear along the bottom edge of the back sleeve.
Overall this rare, wonderful and collectable album by Wizz has been very well cared for and shows little signs of having been played much.
Bert Jansch also features on the final track.
A great listen.
Overall it is a very presentable album.

All records carefully cleaned with soft brushes and cloths and play tested on a Audio-Technica AT-LP-120 deck through a Cambridge A2 amp and Gale monitor speakers. As always a professional clean would probably enhance the vinyl.
Sold as seen, in conjunction with grading - please see photos for actual item being sold.
I do my best to note any faults and to grade as accurately as is possible. Erring on the side of caution rather than being misleadingly positive.
