Description

"Workin' with the Miles Davis Quintet" LP record, 1987 remastered edition from Fantasy, Inc.  Album OJC-296, originally released by Prestige as P-7166 from recordings done in Hackensack, N.J. in 1956.  Album has eight selections and features musicians Miles Davis (trumpet), John Coltrane (tenor), Red Garland (piano), Paul Chambers (bass), and "Philly" Joe Jones (drums).  Back cover has an article about Davis and the record, by Jack Maher.

Runout on side A of the LP is "OJC-296 A RE4"; on side B "OJC-296 B RE4".  Record is in a white paper sleeve, and is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, scratches, scuffs or marks.  Labels -- which are reprints of the original Prestige ones -- have no marks or writing.  Cover is in very good shape with a pinhole at lower left, a crease at bottom right, and light edge wear at the open end.
