This record looks to be in really good shape with only a handful of LIGHT scratches and or smudges on either side. Much less than I am used to seeing. There are 2 or 3 scratches that I would call Light and a few more that I would call EXTREMELY Light. There may be a couple audible pops or clicks here and there, more likely to be noticeable between songs, but this record likely still sounds great! VG
The double sided lyric sleeve is also in great shape. It's pretty common to see large seem splits on all three closed sides with this type of insert, but this one only has small splits on 2 sides. One side has a 3 inch split, one side a has a 1 inch split, and the 3rd closed side has no split at all. There is a very small amount of normal handling wear near the corners. Overall this insert is still in great shape. VG
The cover is also in good shape but does have a bit of minor wear. There is Light ring wear visible on front and back but only at the top and bottom middle areas of the cover. There are a mere handful of Light veins near the left and top edges and a couple Vague scratches in the varnish of the cover. All these blemishes are extremely minor and actually serve to give this cover a bit of character rather than making it look trashy. The 4 corner tips have Light wear perhaps leaning a bit towards Moderate. The spine edge has only Light wear and all the title text is still intact. The shelf edge also has Light wear. Strangely, the top edge has the worst of the wear on this entire cover. Perhaps it was upside down on it's shelf during the past 30 years of storage. Anyway....the top edge has Moderate wear but with 1 inch of Severe wear where the varnished outer paper is worn off and the raw under cardboard is exposed. A very small part of that blemish can be seen when looking at the front cover. (see pictures) Overall this cover still looks really good and I would say that it rates VG but perhaps just barely. VG

Grades that I use are G-, G, G+, G++, G+++, VG, VG+, VG++, VG+++/EX, NM. I won't be describing anything as M or MINT unless it is unopened and the packaging is completely unblemished. Records that have never been played but HAVE been opened, will be described as Near Mint or NM. These are the adjectives that I use when describing damage: Very Light, Light, Moderate, Severe, Catastrophic. To describe damage in between those ranks I say things like: "Moderate leaning towards Severe," "Moderate leaning towards light," or "In between Light and Moderate"...just for example.
