Up for sale is this extremely RARE & highly sought after 45 RPM funk, boogie & soul Record by the Wynd Chymes titled Baby You're the One & Ride.
Wynd Chymes were funk/soul group from Jackson, Mississippi. A few group members were part of the “Sonic Boom Of The South”, Jackson University’s marching band. They started to perform in Jackson State as “The Family”, because of their brotherly bond. After some time they continued as “Wynd Chymes”, in order to add more mystique to the group’s new name. Wynd Chymes eventually got noticed by RCA Records, which resulted in a record deal for two albums and various singles.
This is a 100% original pressing of this funk masterpiece.
The condition is VG- with very light pops at the beginning of both tracks. After about 10 seconds, the pops go away and the music sounds great! This record is definitely suitable for playing in a club or on the radio. Contact me if you'd like to hear a recording of this 45. Thank you!
