Up for auction is a rare first pressing of the X album Los Angeles, originally released in the U.S. on Slash Records (SR 104) in 1980:
-Guaranteed original first pressing, NOT reissue -Original black & white Slash labels w/ black "lightning bolt" -Matrix reads     -SR-104-A AZ CB L1502     -SR-104-B AZ CB L1502 X -Original inner sleeve w/ lyrics -Original dark grey/blue cover w/ red line spine -NO UPC/bar code on cover -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile protective inner sleeve
Note: These original covers are super rare--and different from the reissues.  These originals are more of a charcoal dark blue while the reissues are dark blue.  And the originals have a red line the length of the spine.
Condition: Cover is in nice shape, still has its original shine.  No significant ring wear on front, but some rub top middle--and same with back, rub top middle.  No seam splits, but top and bottom seam shows rubbing wear.  Spine is nice, some rubbing wear top corner.  Overall, still an attractive original! Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)
The vinyl is also nice, still retains its original glossy shine.  Under a strong light the vinyl shows some faint superficial hairlines and sleeve wear, but nothing deep or serious--nothing that affects the playback, which is excellent.  Labels are clean, unmarked.  Looks like this record has been played a few times but not abused or worn--obviously handled with some care.  Nice original! Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)
