Description
Up for auction is a very nice original pressing of the X album Los Angeles, originally released in the U.S. on Slash Records (SR-104) in 1980:
-Guaranteed original pressing, not reissue -Original Black & White "lightning bolt" Slash labels -Original inner sleeve w/ lyrics
-Matrix reads: -SR-104-A AZ CB L1502
-SR-104-B AZ CB L1502 X -White posterboard interior of cover sleeve
-Red line on spine with titles -No UPC/bar code on cover -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile sleeve
Note: Most copies of this record sold as "original" pressings are not original, but either reissues or bootlegs. This one is the real deal as the attributes noted above.
Condition: Cover is in nice condition, still retains its original shiny surface. Has some light rub top middle and to the corners (see photos). Has a few creases along spine. Titles are nice. Nicely preserved original. Grade: Excellent Minus (EX-), better than typical VG+ copies
Vinyl is also very nice, still retains its original shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs, just a few faint superficial signs from taking the vinyl out of paper inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean. Looks like this record has been played a couple times, but handled with care. Grade: Excellent (EX)
Combined Shipping:
Yes, I offer significant combined shipping discounts. Just ask!
International Shipping:
Because of unreliable postal services, buyers in France and Italy must pay for Expedited international shipping, which includes tracking and insurance. I've had too many records lost or damaged shipping to these countries. Also, I do not ship to Central or South America, or China.
How I Pack Your Records:
I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing. I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection. I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
