For years I've looked for the absolute best in Jamaican Christmas music. These vintage Winston Henry & Ralston Charles produced originals fit in fine with any JA Christmas classics. "Rass Mass" brings rastafari into the celebration with an uptemp soca beat as Winston explains "it's a high mass, no whiskey, everybody irie... Jah Jah". The flip keeps the fiery beat going with a different tune singing "keep your head upon the shelf, your business they're watching". It's yet another disc in my Annual Dread Nights Before Christmas Auctions for the best in seasonal greetings in 2012. These are records which were under consideration for my NATTY & NICE: A REGGAE CHRISTMAS compilation done for Midnight Dread and Rhino Records a few seasons ago.
