XTC - White Music - Original 1978 UK Vinyl LP with Virgin company Inner Sleeve.

Excellent Condition. A nice looking & playing copy!

SLEEVE:     

EX (Very slight wear only. This sleeve would grade as EX+ but for a few sellotape marks INSIDE the sleeve. Just to be clear, these marks are not on the front or back but inside where you won't even notice them apart from when you're taking the record in and out of the sleeve! What has happened is a previous owner has protected the sleeve in a PVC wrapper which is fixed with a few small pieces of sellotape inside the sleeve - see my close up picture for a clear idea of what I'm saying. Basically instead of using a conventional PVC cover that the sleeve slides in and out of, a fixed wrapper has been applied like you might see on a library book. I don't want to remove it and cause any damage to the inside of the sleeve so I will leave it on. The winning bidder can remove it if they want to but I think when you see it you will be impressed by how neat and clean the cover is and will probably want to keep it on! It's a bit like a thicker form of shrinkwrap, and has protected the sleeve really well. Any ringwear marks you see in the photos are ONLY on the plastic covering NOT the actual sleeve)

GRADINGS

When grading records and CD’s I follow the standard UK grading system as defined by Record Collector Magazine. This is the most widely used guide and respected by Collectors Worldwide.

MINT (M) – Record is in brand new condition. The cover and all extra items are present and in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX) – The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) – The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items (without any major defects) is acceptable.

I always grade honestly and accurately and unless a record is extremely rare I never sell anything with a grading below VG-
