Description
This is the original UK LP by the YARDBIRDS, FIVE LIVE YARDBIRDS, 1964 Mono 1st Press on the black and blue COLUMBIA label 33SX 1677, with "Sold in the UK" and "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964" label credits and COLUMBIA GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" credits around the rim of the label's. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- XAX 2725-1N, SIDE 2:- XAX 2526-1. Stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 1 / GD, SIDE 2:- 1 / L. Both matrix numbers and stamper codes identify this as a very 1st Pressing and with the lowest possible marix numbers and stampes codes. The LP comesc complete with it's original 1964 1st issue "Use Emitex" die-cur inner sleeve.
The original 1964 UK very 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse flipback cover with 'Patents pending credits is in EX+ condition, beautifully clean on the front maintaining all it's original bright vibrant colour, the back is nice and clean, showing minimal ageing. Their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the spine is in perfect condition, fully intact, broad and perfectly readable, LOVELY COVER, 'The' best ive seen for some time!.
The vinyl is in EX conditon, their is one very nocticable mark on side 1 covering tracks 3, 4 and 5, however this is NOT audioable in any way, plays through perfectly with NO clicks, NO pops and NO jumping, testament to the quality of this superb Mono pressing, the vinyl would be graded EX+++ but for that mark. The vinyl plays superbly, playing MINT- !, playing with super crystal clear crisp clarity!!!. A WONDERFUL LISTENING EXPERIENCE!.
The label's are in MINT- condition!!!, beautifully clean, maintaining all their original colour, their is no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindle hole show no wear, KT tax code is embossed in the centre of side 2's label.
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1964 UK 1st issue "Use Emitex" die-cut inner sleeve and in MINT- condition!, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits.
