On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Yardbirds called 'Five Live Yardbirds' and is a 1964 MONO UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS A MEGA RARE LP AND VERY HARD TO FIND!!!! THIS IS THE 1964 MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL, EMITEX INNER SLEEVE, AND FLIPBACK GARROD & LOFTHOUSE 'PATENTS PENDING' LAMINATED COVER!!!! THIS LP IS VERY HARD TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Columbia UK MONO 1st pressing from 1964 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 33SX 1677 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Yardbirds at their best!!!! Any fan of The Yardbirds, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a few hairlines, a few light scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and only some VERY slight low level crackle in a few places!!!! The record plays VERY well too - with GREAT sound and only a VERY few clicks/pops!!!! The only obvious sound fault is 4 pops right at the beginning of Side 1 - but 3 of these are on the run on groove - with only 1 in the music!!!! The record must grade Very Good (Minus)!!!! Whilst this record may not be Mint - it certainly VERY rare indeed - and is a GREAT chance for someone to own this LP at a cheaper price than a Mint copy!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL Emitex inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Flipback Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The cover has NO edge wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases, and NO writing!!!! The spine is mostly UNWORN and 99% of the side words are perfectly readable - however there are 3 or 4 small 'chips' and there is a small area of rubbing right at the bottom of the spine. The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with only VERY minimal Grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO writing, and only some creases to the flipbacks!!!! This is cover must grade Very Good (maybe +) if not better!!!! THIS MAY BE A MINT MONO 1ST PRESSING - BUT IT IS CERTAINLY VERY RARE - AND THIS IS A GREAT CHANCE FOR SOMEONE TO OWN THIS RARE LP AT A CHEAPER PRICE THAN A MINT COPY!!!! THIS IS A VERY RARE LP AND VERY HARD TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT!!!!
