Description
This is a fine original pressing copy of the debut US LP by the Yardbirds, released in 1965. The band's discography is a mess. This LP, for example, appeared only in the US and (with a different title and a few different tracks) Canada. It compiles the band's early UK 45s, most notably the title track, along with some early outtakes like their version of "My Girl Sloopy" that have since turned up on countless comps. The jacket has a handful of minor flaws: a small piece of tape on the front cover at the bottom seam, creasing on the front cover and along the spine, light corner, spine, and seam wear, and light staining on the back cover (EX). The disc has some light scuffing/loss of glossiness, and plays with mostly light surface noise and a stray light pop, though the sound does get a bit muddy in the LP’s final track (VG+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
