Description
Yardbirds "Roger The Engineer" LP first pressing with early numbers; XAX 3126-1 and XAX 3127-1. A one owner album that has spent almost all of its life in a protective cover. The labels have no writing on them and have just a few spindle traces, very clean. The vinyl sounds amazing, with only a very few tiny audible clicks here and there. It has NEVER been cleaned, and would show up as almost perfect audio if it were done. As it is, it plays perfectly on my Linn and sounds really full with a big clear sound. No distortion or damage. The vinyl appears slightly mottled with a few marks, see the photos. I think this is just age rather than anything else, as the record sounds so good. I would have visually said VG+ but as a player it is at least an EX. And it is 55 years old!! The cover is nice and flat with a little age related discolouration and a couple of typical creases. Again, really nice. The inner sleeve appears original, an EMI inner with ads for Hank Williams and Ray Charles, etc. Please study the photos, this is a very presentable copy with great sound and no real defects other than age. It is not mint, but it is certainly better than VG. Please ask any questions before bidding. FREE postage in UK only.
