On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Yardbirds called "The Yardbirds (also known as 'Roger The Engineer')" and is an ORIGINAL 1966 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS THE YARDBIRDS RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1966 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!! AND THIS IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Columbia UK 1st Pressing from 1966 and is in GREAT condition overall!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SX 6063 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall - and though it isnt visually PERFECT - it plays VERY well indeed (I just played it end to end, and what an AMAZING LP it is too!)!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has only 3 or 4 light hairlines, a few ULTRA light scuffline traces (these are ULTRA light - and ONLY visible under light!), only 2 or 3 MEGA light surface marks (NON sounding!), and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays EVEN BETTER than the visual with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must visually grade Good+ (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and still plays VERY well indeed!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Patents Applied For' Black Advertising inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' MONO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, only 2 or 3 ULTRA faint 'age traces', NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (ESPECIALLY AS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
