Description
On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Yardbirds called 'The Yardbirds (also known as 'Roger The Engineer')' and is an ORIGINAL 1966 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS THE YARDBIRDS RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! IT SOLD VIRTUALLY NOTHING ON RELEASE BACK IN 1966 - AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!! INCREDIBLY, NOT ONLY DOES THIS LP HAS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 1/1 MONO MATRIX ENDINGS - BUT AMAZINGLY IT HAS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1/G 1/G MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS!!!! AND THIS CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THIS LP WAS QUITE LITERALLY THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - AND ONE OF THE FIRST 300 COPIES EVER PRESSED, ON THE VERY FIRST DAY OF PRESSING - WAY BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE!!!! THIS LP ALSO HAS A 'FACTORY SAMPLE' STICKER ON THE SIDE 1 LABEL - CLEARLY SHOWING THAT THIS WAS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - FOR 'IN-HOUSE USE' ONLY!!!! SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET - AND IT WILL SURELY BE A VERY VERY LONG TIME (IF EVER!) BEFORE YOU EVER SEEN ANOTHER ONE!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1966 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL, 1ST PRESS EMITEX INNER SLEEVE, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESS 1G/1G MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK Blue/Black Columbia 1st Pressing from 1966 and is SERIOUSLY RARE in every respect!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SX 6063 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO wear (apart from a VERY minor touch around the centre holes), NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl isnt in PERFECT condition - though it plays FINE and is VERY respectable indeed!!!! However it is VERY important to note - that the MOST important thing is here - that this is the EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - and whilst you can hear the music on any standard Mono 1st Pressing of this LP - there are only a TINY handful of people in the WORLD today that can claim to own the EARLIEST EVER Mono 'Factory Sample' 1st Pressing of this LP with 1/G 1/G mother & stamper codings!!!! And there is absolutely NO doubt AT ALL that this LP is 1000 times rarer than any standard Mono 1st Pressing of this LP!!!! That said - this record is still in VERY respectable condition and plays fine!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT, though it does have a few hairlines, a few VERY light scufflines, only 2 or 3 ULTRA light surface traces, and a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD IS STILL VERY SHINY LOOKING!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO nasty loud pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! There is however some slight general background sound on this record - though this is lost WAY behind the music and is mostly confined to the run on grooves & gaps, with the music playing VERY well indeed!!!! There is NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT 'wrecked') if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Emitex inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, barely ANY grubbyness AT ALL, NO rubbing, and barely ANY yellowing AT ALL (virtually NONE!)!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! THIS REALLY HAS TO BE CONSIDERED AS A 'ONCE IN A LIFETIME' OPPORTUNITY TO OWN THE 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
