Description
On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Yardbirds called "The Yardbirds (also known as 'Roger The Engineer')" and is a UK 1966 1st pressing on the 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label!!!! THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE IN THIS CONDITION!!!! THIS LP IS WELL KNOWN FOR TURNING UP IN TERRIBLE CONDITION - WITH A CREASED AND BATTERED COVER, AND A SCRATCHED WORN RECORD. BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!! THIS IS THE BEST CONDITIONED 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP I HAVE SEEN FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND IS IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE 1966 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL, 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, 1ST PRESS EMITEX INNER SLEEVE AND 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' PATENTS PENDING COVER!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st MONO pressing from 1966 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The Cat. No is SX 6063 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a 1966 MONO 1st pressing!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 MEGA light NON sounding light scufflines (only visible under EXTREME light), and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only the absolute MEGA faintest lowest level touches of background sound on the occassional gap - NOT in the music!!!! The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Excellent(Minus) if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Emitex inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Garrod & Lofthouse 'Patents Pending' Flipback Laminated Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear, AWESOME shiny laminate, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing (apart from a TINY faint 'dot' in the top right corner), NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN THIS STUNNING CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
