Description

Up for sale in this auction is a rare still sealed 1977 US pressing of Yes' LP, "Going For The One" This is NEW OLD STOCK and has never been opened! It came to us in a large collection of sealed vinyl all from between 1973-1979. Obviously bought from the same location back in the late 70s or early 80s when they were placed into a sale bin somewhere. We believe this to be a 1977 pressing based on our research but we're unable to exactly date the specific pressing while it's still sealed. This is pre-barcode and the date would make sense based on the other records that came in with the collection. Vinyl is assumed to be mint as it has never been opened or removed from it's shrink wrap. NO hole punches or corner cuts! Jacket is in NM condition with strong corners! Shrink fully intact. Rare still sealed copy of this record!

Goldmine Grading System:

  • SS  Still Sealed 
  • M  Mint - Perfect in all ways.
  • M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
  • NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
  • VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
  • VG+  Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
  • VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
  • VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
  • G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
