THE LP HAS THE CUSTOM ROGER DEAN LABELS WITH THE MATRICES: A3 / B3 / C2 / D3 AND IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH INTERNALLY PRINTED LYRICS "Printed and made in England by Shorewood Packaging"

The album's concept, a two-disc, four-piece work of symphonic length and scope (based on the Shastric scriptures, as found in a footnote within Paramahansa Yogananda's book Autobiography of a Yogi), was their most ambitious to date.
On release it received notably hostile reviews. Gordon Fletcher in his review in Rolling Stone described it as "psychedelic noodling". Chris Welch in Melody Maker described it as "Brilliant in patches, but often taking far too long to make its various points, and curiously lacking in warmth or personal expression".
Many Yes fans and casual listeners remain divided over whether or not this is one of the group's stronger works. Some Yes fans claim that it is far too excessive and obscure, while others see it as one of the band's masterpieces.

LABELS: The GROOVED FIRST PRESS labels are in PRISTINE condition with NO wear, NO marks/unwanted writing and NO evident spindle marks.  I WOULD SAY THAT THIS COPY IS UNPLAYED
VINYL Visual: Both records have a DEEP, LIKE NEW, GLOSSY sheen and are UNMARKED. Both visually MINT
VINYL Audio: STUNNING - CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY SHARP and VERY STRONG. TREMENDOUS PIECE OF WORK. There are NO scratches, NO jumps/sticks, NO clicks/pops, NO surface noise, NO discernible distortion or groove-wear (the set is possibly unplayed). DELIVERS AN ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING LISTENING EXPERIENCE ON EVERY FRONT FROM START TO FINISH. Must be graded as MINT. SIMPLY DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME MATERIAL
SLEEVE: The original 1st issue MATTE cover is also in SUPERB condition. CLEAN, SHARP and FRESH with just the lightest touch of record impression on the surfaces but hardly ANY wear to either the edges or spine. BEAUTIFUL SLEEVE. EX+
