COVER: VG+.  Gatefold cover is solid and clean, BANDED PROMO sticker and HYPE sticker on front.  Ring and corner wear.

VINYL: VG++/M-.   BOTH VINYLS are super shiny and very clean!!!   Side 1 has a thin 1 inch hairline scuff at the end, otherwise ALL sides are NEAR MINT!!

COMMENTS: US original WHITE LABEL PROMO 2 album set. The hard to find BANDED for radio stations version of the classic Yes 2LP set, Tales of Topographic Oceans!!!  After the great success of Close To the Edge and the "live" Yessongs albums, the band chose to record a four-part epic, concept like, double album.  Unlike any other recording at that time by a progressive rock band, each piece would be side long and deal with a variety of ideas. This banded version allowed the radio stations to cue up segments of the side long pieces (see label times)       

This is my 18th year of successfully selling records on eBay!!  I take extreme care in buying and selling ONLY vinyl that is NEAR MINT, or very close to it.  My goal is to keep the dream alive for the art of collecting and selling PROMOTIONAL albums, from the 60's and 70's in jazz and rock n' roll.  PROMO albums are usually 1st pressings, they get released prior to the stock copies, and are generally as close to the master tape as the listener can obtain. They are pressed in extremely limited quantities, many get trashed by radio stations, but collecting them in top quality has been my specialty for many years. I also sell some hard to find ORIGINAL stock US, UK and Canadian pressings LP's.  AND AS ALWAYS...ALL records are from MY OWN PERSONAL collection of over 50 years and....NO JUNK!!! 

ALL my vinyl is visually graded and then PLAY graded on a REGA P3 turntable, through a McINTOSH MA6300 Integrated Amplifier and 2 original JBL Century 100 speakers!!!

I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine and pack ALL records carefully!!   FIRST, the records are cleaned, then placed in the inner sleeve outside of the record cover and inserted into a clear plastic outer record sleeve. SECOND, albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box!!
