1st UK Pressing Cat No K50048 Stunning Mint Archive Copy!
Only Played Three Times By Me Ever From New!
Earliest A1 B1 Matrix Endings! Stunning Near Mint Audio Quality!
An Archive Copy Never Need To Upgrade!

Another from my personal collection of records that I have accumulated over a period of more than 45 years! This album was purchased from new in 1975 and never played until this listing! The album is near mint and looks as good as it did when purchased new over 40 years ago! The album has always been stored in a case with the vinyl separated from the cover and sleeve to prevent ring wear this is how I have always stored my records! This is the original 1st uUK pressing and in imaculate condition rarely seen like this anywhere! An awesome Progressive Rock album never need to upgrade from this! I have played the vinyl three times prior to this listing at very loud volume on top systems one timer digitally recorded so that you can hear the album for your selves. Listen to the complete lp in the player provided below!

Yesterdays is a 1975 compilation album by the British progressive rock band Yes.

Released as the band were about to explore their own solo projects, it consists mostly of material from their first two albums, Yes and Time and a Word. In addition, it features the b-side "Dear Father" and their cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "America" which was featured on an Atlantic Records sampler album in 1972 called The New Age of Atlantic. An edit of this extended recording was also released as a US single that year.

All of the tracks on this album feature Yes’s original line-up with Peter Banks and Tony Kaye except "America," which includes Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman.

This was the last Yes album until Drama to use cover artwork by Roger Dean. The front cover incorporates imagery from the cover of Time and a Word, while the back cover was designed to be used as an alternate front cover.

The inner sleeve has photographs of all band members past and present, except then-current keyboardist Patrick Moraz, but including Alan White, who does not play on any of the tracks.

The Vinyl

There is not much to say about the vinyl. On visual inspection this looks as new in my opinion. I find it hard to even see a blemish on the playing surface, any that could possibly be seen would be sleeve removal only, but I can't see any. The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warping. Importantly, there are no visual marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops during the play of this vinyl.

The Audio Quality.
I have play tested the vinyl three times on two different turntables/systems at very loud volume prior to this listing. Once for you to hear the complete album. (Can be heard in the player above)
The moment that the needle hits the playing surface it is obvious to me that this has barely ever been played at all. Crystal clear and vibrant stunning top audio throughout the play of this vinyl. This is probably one of the best sounding copies that I have heard of this pressing. Any static/ticks heard was isolated and minimal perhapes heard in quieter place only, but I am sure with constant cleaning this will clear up even better.  I would grade the audio at least excellent plus to near as mint through out!
An audio Archive copy never need to upgrade from this vinyl in my opinion!

Please note! Allowances must be made for these mid seventies Atlantic pressings. They are notorious for static ticks in quieter places. I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for isolated static type tick here and there that might be noticed in quieter places, but not consistent through out the audio. Debrit was noted on the playing surface after play. A constant clean before each play is recommended because this vinyl has been stored in a case laying dormant for over 40 years. A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static ticks/ crackle. constant cleaning before each play will reduce this and enhance the audio quality.

The Labels
These are the original 1st issue UK Atlantic labels  I find it hard to see any spindle marks at all. Perhapes very, very feint  could possibly be seen only in my personal opinion. There is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round. This has only ever been played three times by me only.

The Record Sleeve.
This is the original 1st issue card lyric record sleeve printed in England. This is as new condition because the vinyl has always been stored seperately from the sleeve and cover. No splits or tears what more can I say! The vinyl is always stored seperately from the vinyl. This is how I have always stored my records.

The Cover
This is the original 1st issue Un laminated UK cover. Super clean and straight. Looks like it has just come from the shop!  No creases to report and any storage wear is only really noticed if looked for in my opinion any rubbing at edges would be minor.  The spine has absolutely no rubbing. Super bright and very clean, so rare to see originals in this condition. I would grade this cover at least excellent plus to near as mint in my opinion.
