This audiophile re-mastering of the very fine 1957 Capitol release features Slatkin at the helm of the Concert Arts Symphony Orchestra.
They play two magnificent selections in Britten’s YOUNG PERSON’S GUIDE TO THE ORCHESTRA (an audiophile favorite, full of tricks), plus Von Dohnanyi’s VARIATIONS ON A NURSERY TUNE.
Great music and sound here, factory sealed, mint.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $16 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
