Description
Up for bid is the YOUTH BRIGADE Possible 7" released on DISCHORD RECORDS in 1981 (Dischord No. 6). One thousand copies were pressed and this is one of only two early DISCHORD 7"'s to never get a 2nd pressing (G.I. Legless Bull being the other). Vinyl is in very good condition. There are some light surface scuffs that do not affect play in any way. Note that song 2, side 1 (Full Speed Ahead) does have a very small and barely visible area of debris in the grooves that is audible at a single point for three or four revolutions. This is not a scratch nor does the record skip. If you have access to a good cleaning system I am certain this could be removed. The cover is unglued along the edges, as has happened to most of the early hand-glued Dischord releases. Otherwise, it's in excellent shape with just a little wear along the top edge. Shipping in the US will be $4.00 by USPS PRIORITY MAIL. PRIORITY MAIL will cost more than $4.00--I will pay the difference. Insurance is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for the full value of the final bid if it exceeds $100.00. I will SPLIT the TOTAL insurance cost with you. I will recalculate the exact insurance required at the end of the auction but have estimated a TOTAL cost here. I assume no liability if packages are not insured by the buyer. I can ship First Class International Air Mail to Canada for $5.95. Overseas postage is $8.95 to anywhere in the world. I cannot insure overseas packages unless they are sent INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY MAIL. Total cost for INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY MAIL, including insurance, is $17.00 to Canada and $27.00 to the rest of the world. Again, I assume no liability if overseas packages are not insured by the buyer. I would be very happy to combine shipping if you win multiple items.
