« Real collector item, VERY VERY RARE, because it wasn't sold in record shop, but was only distributed by an association of fans and mellowmans in BRUSSELS (rumored to have only 1000 copy of this record. This record is NUMBER 098)... Plus this recording is the only one to re issue the old 78 rpm from the early 20th century of YSAYE (the 78 rpm of YSAYE are very very hard to get and even more harder in great shape) with even a never edited recording of YSAYE (lately rediscovered), the sound restitution is not an audiophile sound but has the spirit of 1912 ( the time of the recording ) and is very important because it is a very different interpretation (nobody plays like that today , plus YSAYE is a legendary violonist probably on the top 10 of the 20th century violonist) ..Plus there is also a short interview of YSAYE on side A
And that's not enough as a tribute to the violin master, DAVID OISTRAKH released a short INTERVIEW about the composer and played a mini récital of the composition of the master
