All vinyl is from my personal collection spanning 40 some odd years. I consider myself a music lover with a great appreciation for the authentic audio quality that comes from listening to a vinyl recording.
All grading of vinyl is visual as well as researched. I do not consider myself a professional, but instead a keen observer with a strict attention to detail... Oh, and common sense doesn't hurt either.... In short, I make a promise to be as accurate as possible.
My own grading scale to better assist you:
NM/M: Still sealed or played once or twice. EX, Has been played and shows minimal to no wear.
VG++, May have a few surface scratches or some minor typical wear .
VG+, Some wear, a few more minor scratches, vinyl still shiny, plays through
VG, More significant wear than VG+, still in overall good shape, some noise
G, Significant surface noise and/or skips, scratches and visible groove wear.
