Description

Rare Yellow Autumn Sealed LP.  Recorded on Vala Records in Hermosa Beach, Ca. in 1977.  This psych-folk record is highly sought after the world over. There are probably less than 500 copies of this legendary renaissance- flavored  folk classic,  so don't let this opportunity to own a SEALED copy of folk history pass you by! 

The woman is Lorraine Dechter and is a well-known musicologist and NPR radio-show host in Northern Ca.  She just completed a 30-year run of a show called "The Old-Fashioned Folk Hour" that was created by her and her husband, Gary Creighton (also in the group).  Her new show is called 'Roots And Branches'.  She is the only surviving member of the group.

A few years ago my husband, David Martin Wheeler, appeared on her program, singing his original songs.  Some of the songs he performed on that show can be heard on his 28 minute video on Google Video.

The photo on the cover is great- it looks Gypsy-Hippie and the titles suggest Mystic/Pagan.

It is SEALED, but has a small tear in the wrap near the bottom right corner and a slight crease just to the left of that.  There is also a small tear in wrap on back.
