Description

An original 2nd issue from Xmas 1973 on the USA Atlantic label. Unlike a lot of 70's flimsy vinyl this example is pressed solid. And the audio produced is rather impressive. This looks like the George Piros cut which is highly regarded amongst audiophiles [AT/GP]. The vinyl comes housed in an original heavy-card gatefold cover. With the original Lyric inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can barely make out a mark - -really well preserved. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveal an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. If decent audio is your bag you could do a lot worse than go for this copy. It delivers a truly impressive rendition. Very little to find fault with, and remember, Yes is mostly quite fussy audio. It needs to be clean to do the audio any sort of justice - and this copy delivers just that! Expect nothing more than a few crackles in a couple of isolated spots [e.g. intro to side 1]. Really rather impressed with this copy..
Cover (Vg+) An acceptable level with a relatively clean front and back. The interior is immaculate. There's a bit of edge wear in places - but nothing significant. The text on the spine is all legible with a touch of wear in places. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity in part thanks to the heavy card employed.
Inner (Ex-) very nice condition. Two inch bottom edge split - that's all.
