The records i am listing, and will be in coming months are from a private collection lovingly built up, and cared for, by an avid fan music fan and vinyl lover. They mostly span the 60's. 70's and early 80's and represented are heavy rock classics, prog rock and blues- rock classics , major artists early pressings from Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Free, Dire Straits, Yes , Deep Purple and many others including a number of rarities. Each has been catalogued and stored in a way designed to preserve their, in all but two or three cases, near mint condition. They have been played and so I won't describe them as mint even when they pretty much are. near mint/ Ex+ in most cases but clearly each album is/will be graded according to the guidelines below and unless otherwise stated will be played through prior to listing.
Overall Condition:
Super copy which could have come from the shop yesterday but is a first press with earliest matrix and in near mint condition overall , please see the descriptions below and pictures for more detail
Cover: Nr Mint Heavy textured card gatefold in lovely condition bright colours throughout , no wear at all
Vinyl: Nr mint Visually full sheen, slightest hairline across the run out on side 1 if turned into full light. Plays fantastically with no hint of any background noise
Label: Nr Mint No wear and no discernible spindle wear on either side.

"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint; EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing; VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable; GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc; FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced; POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing; BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
