Description

My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years

In near mint condition. Never seen before. MEGA-MEGA-MEGA RARE. An ultimate punkrock breakdown that makes any Punker blush. A legendary cult punk sampler, released on legendary cult punk label. Very clean original first pressing, issued in 1979. In original, thick, cardboard sleeve, typical for very old US pressings. As far as I know this historic US punk document was sent to radio stations and music journalists. I'm sure only a handful exist. Not listed on the Discogs website and nor sold on eBay. As you might know I used to work for RICHARD BRANSON, the man behind VIRGIN RECORDS, here in Germany.....and I often get records from former music journalists, such as this PROMO which was only sent to music journalists and radio stations. You are bidding on the brilliant YES L.A. sampler from Los Angeles. Of course, anyone can create a sleeve with YES L.A. written on it. Anyhow, this is from 1979, so it’s old. Again, in original, thick, cardboard sleeve. The first 2 tracks were issued exclusively on this record. Meaning these were non-7“ and non-12“ versions. This one-sided picture disc was released on the ‘Dangerhouse' label (catalogue number EW 79). The complete track listing is: EYES (Disneyland) BAGS (We Don't Need The English) ALLEY CATS (Too Much Junk) GERMS (No God) X (Los Angeles) and BLACK RANDY (Down At The Laundrymat). In addition, here's the comment from the great FLEX website (US Hardcore Punk discography):

  • A one-sided picture disc with some of the best bands the early LA scene had to offer. Great melodic LA punk in the legendary Dangerhouse style; all songs are hits. A classic. [9]

Condition / Zustand: EX/M- (very clean, near mint, sehr gut erhalten)

Postage & Packaging / Porto & Verpackung:

OUTSIDE GERMANY (all countries): €9 plus insurance

DEUTSCHLAND für 1-26 LPs selber Preis: €7 (DHL Paket, versichert)

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special LP record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.

Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. Deutsche per Banküberweisung oder PayPal. Good luck with your bids from Germany's record seller 'punky_music' (old name 'punkdealer')
