My wife and I do this as a hobby - we go to estate and garage sales, local auction and store closing auctions, and thrift stores looking for treasure. All articles are properly declared through the Commercial side of the border crossing, all duties and fees have been paid (we don't smuggle goods or deal in stolen merchandise). PS Measurements are with clothing on a table lying flat, carpenters measuring tape and are approximate. We use buy it now sometimes, to ensure the amount bid doesn't exceed $800 where extra duties are incurred.
